I did a lot of research before buying my first full set. These knives are incredible. The entire set. The cleavers and chef knives are second to none. Now I buy them for for my kids who grew up with these knives and live on their own. Nothing compares

These are outlet knives so have a blemish. I am not sure I can find the blemish on one knife, the other knife has a small discoloration on the handle. Both were very sharp out of the box and well balanced and comfortable.
My old bread knife had seen better days so I ordered Gunter knife. It gets through my sturdy sourdough bread, no problem!

I have loved my Gunter Wilhelm knives since I bought them during a special event at my local Costco. My wife recently broke the tip off one of the steak knives stabbing it into a bag of frozen peas. After searching the web, I found a matching refurbished knife was available. It was an exact match and my complete set is intact.

I own several GW executive knifes and they are very nice. I was expecting the 8" fillet knife to be a little thinner and more flexible. It's stiffer than other fillet knifes I own and can be slightly more challenging to use. On the positive side, it is well balanced and very sharp. I like these knifes and will continue to buy them.
We have a complete set of knives we bought years ago. I thought I lost my paring knife, one of my favorite knives. I was able to find replacements and so I ordered 2 just in case I lost another one in the future. I found the one I lost and now have 3 but I couldn't be happier. These really are the best knives. Every time I take them to be sharpened the guy always tells me "Oh, this is some great steel, some of the best around". Makes me happy they are quality materials!!
